Perhaps he wasn’t tired of seeing President Donald Trump watch all the war in the media himself (I’ll go into it soon), and Elon Musk has made a serious attack on his own. I decided to go lob.
Musk followed CBS News’ “60 Minutes.” Because he was angry at the story that the news magazine show aired on Sunday night. Correspondent Scott Perry made the segment in President Trump’s first month, focusing on the human impact of the reductions on the US International Development Agency and the reduction in the efficiency of the Musk-run government.
Musk did not respond to requests for interviews from “60 minutes”, but he got off with “60 minutes” on X. The world’s biggest liar! They engaged in a cautious deception to block the final election. They deserve a long prison sentence. ”
Musk had hinted at a “60 minute” interview with Harris before the election last November. In a question about the Middle East, CBS News ran Harris, who gave one answer during a clip of “Face the Nation,” but aired another answer to the same question in “60 minutes.” Trump is suing CBS for $10 billion, saying the edited answer is intended to undermine the chances of winning the election.
CBS News was rarely done by news organizations since. They released the entire transcript and all footage of the Harris interview, and the network appears to have not been inappropriate.
Still, the mask posting was bothering me.
prison? Seriously? And is this the same person who consistently preached about first revision and freedom of speech when something turned the social media platform into the wild west of speeches where something goes? In fact, just hours ago, Musk tweeted, “One of the first things Hitler did when he gained power was to apply offensive censorship.”
As far as Musk’s comments about “60 minutes” are concerned, Mediaite’s Alex Griffing called it a “cool” post. Edith Ormsted, a new Republic, called it a “fascist threat.”
Usually, who cares who, what, and what does a billionaire like Musk have to say? But looking at how he has come nearer to Trump, it appears that he has a strong voice in our government and our country, such a threat should be taken seriously.
It’s all in the words
Apparently, President Donald Trump’s ban on Associated Press is not just the AP’s decision to continue using the Gulf of Mexico, rather than the Gulf of America.
In Axios’ work, Marc Caputo wrote: To the officials of the Top White House. ”

Taylor Budwich, deputy chief of staff at White House, told Caputo: “This is not just the US Gulf. This is in contrast to the traditional and deeply enshrined beliefs of many Americans around the world and many people around the world, using AP weapons through the Stylebook. It’s about promoting a partisan worldview.”
Ok, please tell me a little bit to roll my eyes.
According to Caputo, some of the phrases and words that some conservatives disagree with are capitalized with a black B when referring to black people and culture, but White W is capitalized with a white Not only is there no other guidance issues regarding immigration and transgender people.
If there’s one huge news organization known for its fairness and neutral reporting, it’s the Associated Press. In fact, he said Caputo is considered a “neutral gold standard.” It’s well known and true.
Lauren Easton, Associated Press Vice President of Corporate Communications, told Caputo that the AP is a global fact-based, nonpartisan news organization with thousands of clients around the world, spanning the political spectrum. . If AP journalism is virtually nonpartisan, then that’s not the case.”
I’ll hurt that
The Washington Post has killed what appears to be an upcoming print ad from two groups seeking Elon Musk to be fired as head of Doge.
Common Cause and the Southern Poverty Law Center Action Fund purchased two ads for $115,000. What was supposed to run today was asking him to fire him after asking if the mask was musk or if Trump runs the country. The ad reportedly said “the constitution allows only one president at a time.”
Liam Reilly of CNN reports: “After submitting the artwork on February 11th, three days later, the common cause was that this post could not perform a wrap. Advocacy groups signed the post and contract before sending funds. We were waiting for a final review from the newspaper. When advocacy groups asked the outlet owned by Jeff Bezos if there was anything they could do to make the rap better, they simply said the post did it. I was told I couldn’t do it.”
Riley says that the murdered ad was a wrap and means it was wrapped around the outside of the paper. That was what Knicks got. However, there was a second ad that appeared in the newspaper, and a similar message. It said, “No one chose Elon Musk for any office.”
Reilly wrote: “This post was good for publishing internal ads, but Common Course told the paper to forget it and walk away.”
Reilly said the post would not comment on the decision to make a particular ad, and would not say whether Bezos is involved. However, the Post’s policy is that, like almost every policy for every paper in the country, news outlets can refuse to run ads they don’t want to run for almost any reason, or there is no reason at all. .
Common Cause President and CEO Virginia Kase Solomón told Reilly that the Post’s decision was “concern,” reminding him that the Post’s slogan “democracy dies in the dark.” Solomon said, “It seems like democracy also dies when the free press operates from a place of fear and compliance… But now, we are in the Washington Post – the Investigative Journalism during Watergate. Pillars – forced to ask themselves if they hate them. Challenging those in power. Under Jeff Bezos’ ownership, concerns about the impact of companies on the press are only growing. , this decision raises serious questions about the independence of the paper.”
A night to remember
“Saturday Night Live” airs a special Sunday night of its 50th anniversary, with mixed reviews. Personally, I really enjoyed it, but I admit I’m probably more tolerant than most because I was probably a huge fan of the show.
Especially when considering the enviable task of trying to include as many past cast and guest hosts as possible, or other big shot celebrities, trying to jam into a 50-year live 3-minute show, it is not possible to do so. It will become possible. . The show has released new skits of classic characters to help viewers remember the past, including “Debbie Downer,” “Bronx Beat,” “Black Jeopardy,” and of course “Weekend Update.” I tried to walk along the thin lines I used. Plus, I took a little walk around Memory Lane with clips from an old skit.
There were some great moments. Adam Sandler sang songs that remember the cast and drew a standing ovation. Meryl Streep made her first “SNL” look to play Kate McKinnon’s mom in a classic bit about being accused of aliens. A parody of Hamilton about New York City. And the fun scripted Q&A hosted by Tina Faye and Amy Poehler, featured many celebrities, including past cast members.
NPR TV critic Eric Degans wrote: Special – extended well beyond the planned run time of 3 hours. ”
Count me in that group.
Deggans added: “However, if you’re looking for a collection of performances that may be placed with this comedy institution’s history in mind, or take some of those old and venerable sketches on the show and use them to get into a modern day. If you want to comment – it’s possible that the SNL crew was disappointed with what they deployed.”
Meanwhile, in a moment of self-awareness, the special special shows clips of old skits that we now know.
As always, there were music guests. Paul Simon and Sabrina Carpenter held the show on Simon’s “Homewordbound.” Miley Cyrus performed Brittany Howard and the Prince’s cover (“Nothing Rames 2 U”). Lil Wayne played with Roots. And Paul McCartney closed the show with the “Abbey Road” medley of “Golden Srams/Carryweight/End.”
McCartney and Simon in particular weren’t at the top of their game, but their mere presence brought back lots of “SNL” memories.
Can’t find humor
Of course, Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” has been shaped onto something from the “SNL” 50th Anniversary Special. On a skit called “Black Jeopardy,” Tom Hanks played a character he did previously on the show. He is a contestant named Doug wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
Like in previous “SNL” episodes, in Sunday Night’s special, Doug’s character is initially surprised and retreats when fake game show host Kenan Thompson comes waving. Thompson is black. (By the way, this wasn’t the first time that Hanks’ character was used in “SNL” away from Thompson’s handshake.)
“Fox & Friends” is co-host of Black Lawrence Jones, who says, “I don’t censor the comedy, but it wasn’t funny.”
Co-hosting Kayleigh McNany, who was filling out on Monday, he said, “No, they must have got the script from Don Lemon. When he mocked the voters in the Magazine, or when his guests went, the map. Remember that we can’t point out the country above? That’s ridiculous!”
McEnany and regular co-host Steve Doucy continued talking about “SNL,” but Jones wasn’t upset with the “Black Jopaldy” skit, so he’s covered Trump’s rally. Trump added that he is popular with many black voters.
Meanwhile, Mediaite’s Tommy Christopher wrote:
And here is another good read from Christopher. Stop whining about SNL being mean to you! ”
