Lindsay Aus is ready for her slippers.
The Soprano, awarded the Grammy Award, will survive the biggest fale tale of the biggest shoes when playing the role of the title in Opera Orlando’s “Sendrillin”. It is the name of the French character we know as Cinderella, and “Sendrillon” will be performed on February 7 and 9 at the Stein Mets Hall of the Philips Center for the Performing Arts.
The show leads to “Cendrillon”. It’s not because I’m trying to be flashy, it’s an opera, OOH La La! -However, composer Jules Massenet was actually French. Also, don’t forget that in 1697, the French Charles Pellalt gave the story version of the most known story today.
OHSE knows the inside and outside of the opera version of the MASSENET. Because she has played various roles in various productions, such as the fairy God mother, the evil sister -in -law, Cinderella, and the role of returning in Orlando.
It just leaves an evil stepmother. “Hopefully, I’m spending more years before I reach it,” Aus laughs, well, with a smile worthy of a fairy tale princess.

“Every role has an ups and downs,” she talks about the part he played in “Sendrillon.” “You are stupid because you are an evil sister -in -law, but you can’t wear Cinderella’s gorgeous ball gown as an evil sister -in -law.”
Don’t be thrown away for “stupid” reference. The villain character of this version of this story will be played more for comic reliefs. As a result, the opera is suitable for all ages.
Adults, especially on Valentine’s Day, may be biased toward romance.
“We both meet the forest and have a moment with each other,” says Aus. “But there is magic, we fall asleep, wake up in various places, and I think it’s just a dream.”

The scene offers another love duet from Composer Massenet, and music is one of OHSE’s favorite.
“It melts you,” she talks about score romanticism. “The prince’s music is very emo and romantic. The fairy named parent has a sparkling high notebook, and of course my music is wonderful -they named the show after me.” Say while laughing.
In Orlando’s cast, Zhengyi Bai plays THEMPLAGE PRINCE and plays Alisa Jordheim as a fairy name parent. Kristen Marie Greis and Erica Vasalo are sister -in -law. “They are cheerful,” Aus says.
To delight her dresser, Aus sang a show selection in the dressing room in the Metropolitan opera in New York and recently played Papagena on Magic Flute.
Jim Helsinger is grateful for 30 years as Orlando shakes art directors.
“We performed a lot of” magic flute “. She was grateful to hear other things, “she joked.
The Chuo Florida previously saw her in Opera Orlando’s 2022 Rigolette production.
She has a small aide during her stay in Orlando. Her parents joined her to help monitor her 10 month old daughters while working in her husband’s Minneapolis. She is grateful that Opera Orlando staff helped find her group accommodation.
“It’s really great to find a company that takes care of you,” she says.
The production is the stage director by James Marvel, and the conductor Alexandra Enjato led the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Orlando ballet dancers will also appear in production.
Aus says that she and the production team use this Cinderella as the heroine of our era.
“She gets a little dripping and a little sad bag if she doesn’t do it in the right way,” she says. “We are bringing sparks to her.”

She says that there are more characters and stories than Right’s exploration.
“We all love love stories, but we need more modern sensitivity,” she says. “She gets her freedom, not she needs a man to be happy.”
She also finds happiness in other Cindy relationships. In this version of the story, Cinderella’s father (played by Dalend loan) is alive, but a new wife (Samanthapeter Sen) cannot stop abusing her daughter.

“After all, she gains confidence,” Aust said about Cinderella.
Either way, Cinderella has the qualities to make her a fascinating character far beyond the pumpkin coach and the glass slippers.
