TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A new report released Monday shows that many Tampa Bay families have more than $100,000 in living, with almost half of their families struggling to buy the basics.

Annual Asset Limits, Income Constraints, Employed (Alice) Report revealed that the household survival budget for four-family infants and toddlers in Pinellas County has risen to $108,480. In Sarasota County, it swelled to $104,424, the report said.

Alice reports that the survival budget reflects the lowest cost of living and work in today’s economy. Includes housing, childcare, food, transportation, healthcare and basic smartphone plans.

Five Florida Big Lot stores will reopen this week

The report also found that Pinellas County households need a stable budget of $145,824 for basic necessities, savings, emergency situations, taxes and retirement.
