The lawmaker reported that the witness saw the man, later identified as Suarez, and entered Kings World Arcade on Friday, July 18th, where he held the cashier at the muzzle.
Authorities say surveillance footage shows him missing the arcade with private cash and jumping into RAV4.
Investigators said they found the vehicle on Tuesday, July 22nd using additional dot footage and license plate reader data. Cedeno was behind the wheels when the authorities pulled the car. Deputies said her son was also in the car.
In addition to other evidence pointing to them as suspects, detectives said the mother-son duo had a black BB gun similar to the weapon used in the robbery.
Both Suarez and Cedeno were arrested and charged in connection with the incident, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
