MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) – A man was killed after being attacked by a dog over the weekend, according to Miami police.
Miami police told NBC affiliate WTVJ that they were called to homes in the Northwest 8th and 67th Avenue areas in Liberty City on Saturday on reports of a man attacked by a dog.

When officers arrived at their home, they found the man dead.
According to Miami police, the man’s identity has not been disclosed and is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old.
Police have not said whether the dogs involved in the attack were found.
Neighbors told the news station that dogs in the area had become a major issue. They claimed that the dog chased people walking nearby and attacked other pets.
Neighbors said the video about a month ago showed several dogs attacking another dog in the same house.
The investigation is underway.
