TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Some Tampa Bay real estate agents have had a disturbing experience. They said that men were showing up at the open house, pretending to be a buyer, then finding excuses to touch their feet and hold love.

Angela Julian said he doesn’t know what started out as a typical open house. Now she and others are moving forward, hoping it will lead to action.

A Florida State Judge was arrested on charges of DUI found with cocaine during a traffic stop: affidavit

“We have multiple female real estate agents who have been experiencing and have been meeting these same guys. Until last July, and until the most recent April 12th, at least of us, at least 12 of us know,” Julian said.

Julian said her experience at the Open House last summer still makes her uneasy, and now she knows she’s not alone.

“He looked around the house, asked questions and asked me to show me my backyard, so I showed him my backyard, and then he told me I had an ants on my legs.

Several victims claimed that men would use bugs or ants to approach and touch their feet.

“I didn’t see Ali, but he kept telling me it went behind my shoes, so he unleashed my shoes and started to love my feet,” Julian said.

After sharing her experience online, Julian discovers that she is not alone.

One woman said, “This happened to me in February, when I was holding a list, it happened at a friend’s open house.”

The incident prompted a safety warning for Tampa Bay agents.

“We need to be ready to be in the hosts of open houses and perhaps do background checks for people,” Julian said.

Clearwater police confirmed the incident that matches the explanation. Investigators issued warnings to agents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
