TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Florida was home to seven of the 10 home sales at the highest priced price last month.

“While Florida residents are tackling rising insurance costs and increasing natural disasters, the state remains a magnet for wealthy Americans,” Redfin said in a news release.

All the best homes for sale in Florida were along the East Coast beachfront.

These are the most expensive US home sales in February, according to Redfin.

1400 S. Ocean Blvd., Manapan, FL 33462: Sold for $49.1 million

152 Bears Club Dr., Jupiter, FL 33477: Sold for $48 million

1230 S. Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, FL 33480: Selling for $40 million

7725 Atlantic Way, Miami Beach, FL 33,141: Selling for $35.6 million

310 S. Beach Rd. , Jupiter Island, FL 33455: Sold for $33.8 million

11432 Turtle Beach Road, North Parm Beach, FL 33,408: Selling for $31.9 million

6494 Allison Rd. , Miami Beach, FL 33141: Sold for $31 million

Redfin said many wealthy people are drawn to Florida due to their gorgeous lifestyle, sunny weather and the fact that there is no state income tax.
