WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida woman was arrested Tuesday after being accused of threatening to shoot President Donald Trump.

“Hey, Trump I’m going to go to your Bay course. It’s going to be the next shooter lol (to give you an emoji and laugh at it, you’ll smile)

The sheriff’s office received anonymous tip on Monday and pointed investigators towards Perez’s post. The detective matched his Facebook profile picture with a mugshot from his previous arrest.

This is the second time Perez has been accused of committing a written threat of murder or physical harm. Court documents accused Perez of threatening a massive shooting at Burton Elementary School in Lakeworth Beach in 2019. The case was dismissed in 2021 “because the accused is incompetent.”

Perez made his first appearance at Palm Beach County Courthouse Wednesday. She is restrained without a bond.
