Mayor La Karen Bass called for a halt to violence on June 8, hinting at the Trump administration causing chaos.
Homeland Security Advisor Tricia McLaughlin said, “Why do they care more about violent murderers and sex offenders Gov. Karen Bass and Mayor of Los Angeles, rather than protecting their citizens?”
“These mobs in Los Angeles are fighting to keep rapists, murderers and other violent criminals relaxing on Los Angeles Street. Instead of riots, they should be grateful to ice officers every day to wake up every day and make their communities safer.”
