Global Professional Services Network and designated large company KPMG has announced that it has added veteran government executive Savannah Jefferson as director, along with promotions for Maggie Mikler, Daniel Kosberg and Kelsisnow within its government services practices based in Maggie Mikler, Daniel Kosberg and Tallahassee.

Anthony Monaco, a partner at KPMG USA, said, “KPMG Florida is proud to be the trust name of a state leader. Our mission and exceptional service to our clients are a team trained in serving state government at many levels.

Savannah Jefferson is a director at KPMG. With deep experience in public affairs and legislative outreach, Jefferson is recognized for his ability to promote relationships and guide organizations through Florida’s complex political environment. She recently served as the Foreign Affairs Director for Governor Ron DeSantis, who she has served since September 2021. As a senior adviser to the governor, she worked closely with Florida stakeholders to oversee strategic outreach and engagement efforts on behalf of the executive office.

Before that role, Jefferson was Director of Communications for the Florida Hospital Association and led communications in the state’s healthcare system in extremely time. At the FHA, she managed media relations, coordinated messages on policy and public health issues, and helped hospitals across the state in navigating both statewide legislative priorities and pandemic-related challenges. Her work helped strengthen the association’s voice in public policy debate while increasing the profile of Florida hospital communities. She also spent more than three years volunteering in Florida, taking on senior roles in legislative issues and external relations, managing outreach, coalition building and engagement initiatives to promote statewide services.

Maggie Mickler has been promoted to KPMG Principal. There, we will continue to work with agencies on issues related to grant management, disaster recovery, risk management and operational efficiency. Mickler previously served as managing director at KPMG, and is recognized for his ability to identify process improvements, mitigate risks and guide the organization through disaster response and recovery efforts.

Prior to joining KPMG, Mickler held senior positions throughout the Florida government. She served as financially self-sufficient assistant and assistant secretary for the Florida Department of Children and Families, and oversaw a large program designed to support Florida’s most vulnerable populations. At the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, she was a staff director and former foreign affairs manager, focusing on the workforce and economic development initiatives. She also served as Director of Communications for the Florida Department of Management Services and spokesperson for the Florida Senate majority office, where she led media strategy and messaging. Her career in public services began in the Florida House of Representatives.

Mickler was awarded the government’s women’s award in 2025, in honor of her hard work and Florida News Service with the above Government Women’s Award. She was recognized for her work promoting accountability, operational efficiency and public service innovation.

Danielle Kosberg has been promoted to KPMG Managing Director, where he will continue to lead financial transformation and large-scale project delivery efforts. Kosberg previously served as director of financial transformation at KPMG, helping clients modernize their systems, strengthen their financial operations and achieve greater efficiency. She brings over 18 years of experience in public and private project management, financial systems and operational transformation.

Prior to joining KPMG, Kosberg was Vice President of Voyatek (formerly GCOM Software) at Florida Operations, and ISF, Inc. He was the senior project manager. Her career in the state government also includes services at the Florida Department of Management Services, where she was a project manager for MyFloridamarketPlace and Strategic Sourcing Leads.

Kelsi Snow has been promoted to manager at KPMG. It supports client engagement and account management in Florida practices. She has been with the company for three years, previously serving as a senior accounts associate, focusing on strengthening relationships with public sector clients and moving forward with strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining KPMG, Snow was a communications assistant at Bascom Communications & Consulting, with experience in messaging, media support and public service. She also worked as both a preview staff member and preview logistics student coordinator at the University of Florida, completing an internship with pitch advertising in New York, where she supported management and event planning. Snow holds a Masters in Law in Administrative Law and Government Relations from Florida State University and holds a public relations BS with Leadership Minors at the University of Florida, where he worked at the University of Florida.

Vincent Fetchero and Maxwell Thursam have both been promoted to senior associates. They are committed to serving Florida clients in regions, including economic development and emergency management. Both bring strengths in data analysis, critical thinking, and project management, promote meaningful client outcomes, and continue to grow through lifelong learning and relationship building.
