Kirk Medas from MTV’s “Floribama Shore” dies at age 33

MIAMI, Fla. (Nexstar) — Family and friends of Kirk Medas, the actor best known as a cast member of MTV’s “Flori Bama Shore,” confirmed that Medas died Friday at the age of 33.

Medas’ family confirmed his death to TMZ, and Medas’ father informed the outlet that his son had died of liver failure.

Medas ‘”Floribama” Costar Aimee Hall wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post. “We have lost our brothers, our best friends, our hearts – Kirk… I already miss his voice, his laughter, his presence.

Floribama Shore, a spin-off of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” aired on the network from 2017 to 2021. Medas was a cast member for all four seasons of the show.

What is necrotizing pancreatitis?

Cleveland Clinic explains that necrotic pancreatitis is “when pancreatitis is “a case that causes tissue death (necrosis) because it is very severe.” According to the clinic, this can cause a variety of issues.

Short-term complications include bleeding and fluid collection in tissues around the pancreas, as well as infections that clinics say occur in up to 20% of cases.

The clinic says necrotizing pancreatitis occurs in about 20% of cases of pancreatic inflammation. The tissue says acute pancreatitis causes approximately 275,000 hospitals in the United States per year.
