For the sixth year in a row, Brevard Zoo has been nominated for Best Zoo at the USA Today 10best Readers’ Choice Awards. Travel experts and the 10 best editorial team will select 20 candidates. Readers then vote for the top 10.
Last year, Brevard Zoo was ranked sixth in the poll.

What does Brevard Zoo need to offer?
Guests can feed the giraffes, walk between the kangaroos, and take the train for other experiences, including exhibits and new lion habitats. In addition to daily admission, the zoo also hosts summer camps, homeschools, preschool classes, and family experiences.
Just east of Interstate 95, Brevard Zoo is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Zoo hours are 9:30am to 5:00pm, admission at 3:30pm
Adult tickets cost $32.95. Tickets for children aged 3-11 are $21.95, while senior tickets for ages 65 and older are $27.95.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted at the zoo.
There is a splash area for young children, so you might want to pack a swimsuit and swim diapers.
