NAPLES, Fla. (WFLA) – The Collier County Sheriff’s Office says four people broke into Golden Gate Middle School Wednesday morning and stole a rifle from a safe.
According to CCSO, three men and a woman wearing black clothing and face coverings entered the school around 2 a.m. and entered the locked deputy youth relations office.
The four people who broke into the office used a cutting machine to break the lock on the gun safe.
According to CCSO, the four stole a CCSO rifle, two magazines and ammunition from the safe.

The group also stole cash from other areas of the building.
Detectives recovered Dunk Low’s retro Nike sneakers outside the school, which were similar to those worn by one of the individuals seen in the surveillance footage.
