PALM BAY, Fla. (WFLA) — There is no better clown for one man caught trespassing at the Palm Bay Shopping Center, police said Wednesday.
According to the Palm Bay Police Department, officers were called to a shopping centre on exchange drives in the northeast after a man who was not allowed to break into and dress the clown by a man who was not allowed to be in the area.

“What do you call someone who returns to the shopping plaza after they trespass?… Clown,” the police station wrote in a social media post.
Wearing a bright yellow suit with peeled white and red sleeves, the man could have been easily mistaken for McDonald’s iconic mascot. However, two characteristics distinguished him from the popular clown. It’s a patch on the front of his unshaven face and his suit.
The patches with golden arches in fast food restaurants were usually there, instead had patches depicting human skulls. His clothes were tied to the nose of a red clown.
However, when the officer approached him, no one thought the situation was very interesting.
The bodycam video showed the suspect entering a brawl as he tried to remove him from his property. The officers eventually took the suspect to the ground and handcuffed him. A search of his pocket led to a weapon that was thrown out of the reach of the suspect.
“You look like a clown,” one officer told him as he was placed behind a police car.
“I’m a clown, I’m stupid,” the suspect replied.
Investigators also searched the bags the man had and showed him a pack of cigarettes, a box full of clown noses, and more clown clothes.
“Everyone has the right to feel safe in public,” the police department said. “We are committed to working with people who repeatedly refuse to respect it.”
