Vitek Vanecek: Buying from Sharks on March 5th at Forward Patrick Giles, Vanecek was 2-4-1 with 3.00 GAA, .890 save percentage and one shutout in seven regular season games with Panthers. He didn’t play this postseason.
Coaching staff
Paul Maurice, Coach: Maurice, hired on June 22, 2022, coached the Winnipeg Jets for nine seasons from 2013 to 2022. He also coached the Hartford Hawlers/Hurricanes (1995-2004, 2008-12) and the Toronto Maple Leafs (2006-08). Maurice ranked second in the NHL History in coaching (1,931) and third in victory (916).
Miles Fees, Assistant: Hired on August 10, 2022, Lee spent the previous three seasons as the Sabres video coach (2019-22).
Jamie Kompong, Assistant: Kompon, hired on August 10, 2022, was previously an assistant to the Jets and Maurice from 2016 to 22.
Sylvain Lefebvre, Assistant: Hired on August 10, 2022, Lefebvre spent three seasons as an assistant to San Diego in the American Hockey League from 2019-22.
Tuomo Ruutu, Assistant: Hired on June 29, 2021, Ruutu was previously assistant director of player development for the New York Rangers from 2019-21.
Goaltending Coach Rob Taras: Hired prior to the 2009-10 season, Taras coached and trained goalkeepers including Hockey Hall of Famer Roberto Luongo, Thomas Vocongn and Jose Theodore.

Bill Jeet: Hired to replace Dale Taron on September 2, 2020, Jeet won the postseason in each of five seasons, winning the franchise with 58 wins and 122 points between 2021-22, winning the presidential trophy as the team with the highest record in the regular season. Zito has been selected as a finalist for Jim Gregory GM of the Year four times in the last five seasons, including each of the last three. He has been an assistant GM for Columbus Blue Jackets since 2013-19 and has been Vice President of Hockey Operations since 2019-20.
