Sunrise, Fla. – Hockey Canada today announced the roster and staff for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. The roster includes Panthers forward Brad Marchand, who joins forward Sam Reinhart, who was named to the reserve roster in June 2025.
Marchand, 37, has represented Canada on the international stage five times during his career. Marchand, who won back-to-back gold medals at the 2007 and 2008 IIHF World Junior Championships, played in 13 games for Canada at the junior level, recording six goals and two assists (6-2-8). He also won a gold medal with Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Championship, scoring seven points in 10 games (4-3-7) and being named one of Canada’s top three players, as well as winning a gold medal at the 2017 Hockey World Cup. He played in four games for Canada in the 2025 Quadrangle, scoring one goal.
Marchand joins other current Panthers players and staff members who have already been named to their respective national teams for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
