TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Cold rain and wind chills in the 30s this morning. The rain will subside by mid-morning, and the sun will come out in the afternoon, but temperatures will remain cold with temperatures only reaching the mid-50s.

Clouds return tonight, increasing the chance of rain. Another chance of showers will be possible Thursday morning, with a few showers likely to continue into Thursday afternoon.

Temperatures will still be cold, with highs in the 50s.

Sunshine will return Friday and Saturday, but conditions will remain quite cold with morning lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s.

The warming trend is in full swing Sunday with a return to the low 70s in the afternoon forecast and a stay in the 70s for much of next week, setting up a quieter, drier weather pattern.
