Flagler County, Fla. (WFLA) — A traffic offender was repeatedly arrested after a high-speed pursuit early Saturday morning, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
The pursuit began when lawmakers saw the vehicle pass a stop sign while leaving the Circle K gas station. The deputy attempted to stop traffic, but the car escaped at high speed.
At the intersection of the SR-100 and the Seminole Woods Parkway, the car passed a red light and hit a nearly different driver.

Lawmakers estimated that drivers were travelling above 100 mph per hour in the 50 mph zone.
The vehicle tried to proceed to I-95, but was unable to make a turn and crashed into a light pole along the ramp. The driver then tried to drive on foot after getting out of the crashed car when a nearby highway patrol trooper stopped him.

“He was running away from me…it wasn’t clever,” the aide said.
The high speed driver was identified as 30-year-old Christopher Boone.

Deputies discovered Boone lacked a Florida driver’s license and had multiple aggressive suspensions. He was also previously arrested for grand theft and possession of cocaine.
Boone was arrested for driving with a suspended license and resisted officers to leave the scene of the accident that resulted in violence, reckless driving and property damage.
“This guy is a habitual traffic criminal without a valid license, but he continues to put other drivers at risk,” Staliff Staly said. “He was the only car that was damaged and no one was injured or killed in his reckless driving. This was taken to the Green Roof Inn, where he belonged.”
Boone was taken to a local hospital for treatment after a car accident. Once cleared, he went to prison and was released on a $15,500 bond.
