Hanging the election assembly “worst outcome”: Union Senator

Recent polls show a coalition ahead of labor on a priority basis for two parties, 51-49

Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume has made it clear that the coalition will take part in the election and win, and sees the hung parliament as “the worst outcome.”

This showed that after a recent YouGov poll, the coalition holding two-party priorities of 51-49 took the lead over Labour in the most likely scenario in Congress . However, the data shows that the coalition is more likely to win a majority than the Labour Party.

Australia’s suspended parliament occurs when political parties do not win most seats in the House of Representatives. This leads to negotiations between the parties and forms minority governments or coalitions.

Hume said the “teal” independents have strong voting records for Labour and Green when asked if the Union would work with them.

“On average, the Teals voted on the greens about 78% of the time. Working, about 75% of the time, and having a coalition, about 18% of the time,” she said on ABC News Breakfast. .

Hume avoided closing the door to working with minor parties, but emphasized that it’s really important to “see what people do, not what people say.”

“We’re planning on going to this election to win the election because it’s better than what Australians have had in the last three years,” she said.

“We believe that the worst outcome will be hung in the parliament. Of course, we consider that the vote for people outside the Kuomintang, who are not all members of the Kuomintang, is a vote for (Prime Minister) Anthony Albanese. , and potentially, the congress that causes confusion.”

Teal Independent Aregraspender, representing Sydney’s wealthy eastern suburbs in Wentworth’s seat, left the room in a February 17 interview due to the possibility of working with both the Union and the Labour Government.

Wentworth traditionally voted for liberals before Spender’s victory, but to secure a seat in the next election, it would take more than a normal liberal foundation, and wider range to win. Explore voters.

“I’m very open to working with the Union government and I’m open to working with the Labour government, but that depends on what they actually put on the table. I think this is my way of working with the world. It is the view of the Union and the view on the world, and I believe there are many similarities. There is a lot of sympathy,” she said on ABC.

Other famous teals in Congress include Zari Stegal, Monique Ryan, Zoe Daniel, Kate Cheney and Sophie Scamp.

Reclaiming some of the seats lost to the Teals in the 2022 election is seen as important for the Union’s election chances. However, the coalition also often votes in voters in the outer suburban areas, including Hunters.

This comes after opposition leader Peter Dutton said on February 17 that Greens Teal “said he only supports the labor government.”

“So if you vote for Monique Ryan, if you vote for Zoe Daniel, if you vote for Kate Cheney, you need to be honest about the fact that you vote for Anthony Albanese and the Greens minority government. I think there is,” he said.

But Dutton suggested that Spender and independent lawmakers Dye Le and Bob Katar could help the coalition form the government if they lack a few seats.

Election Day is still in the air

The Australian election is scheduled to be called this year, but so far the Prime Minister has been tightening Election Day.

Elections will be required by May 17th, as both the House and Senate are held on the same day, as half of the senators signed a term in the middle of the year.

When asked when the election would take place on February 14th, Albanese said: Before that. If there is a Senate and House election, it must be held by May 17th. ”

Meanwhile, Housing Minister Claire O’Neill, when asked about the number of votes for today’s show on February 17, mentioned the global factors affecting the economy. She pointed to the economies of the US, Canada and the UK. It’s similar to Australia’s difficulties.”

“It was a difficult time. No one would deny that Australians are under great pressure, but everything we did to help people with cost-of-living issues was Peter Dutton I remember coming out and opposed them.
