TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida gas prices have fallen 20 cents from Labor Day weekend, the AAA said.

On Sunday, Florida’s average gas price was $2.93 per gallon.

“As the informal end of the summer travel season approaches, gas prices are lower,” said Marc Jenkins, a spokesman for the AAA-Auto Club Group. “However, there is no guarantee that this decline will last throughout the weekend. For almost a year, Florida gas prices have declined for about 10 days, following a pattern of 10-20 cents recovery.
