TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — A food service worker was identified as one of two people killed when a gunman fired on Florida State University’s campus on Thursday.
“We are heartbroken by confirming that Aramark employees are among those killed at FSU yesterday for their meaningless violence,” a spokesman for the food service provider said in a statement. “We are absolutely shaken up by the news, and our deepest sympathy lies in our family and our entire Aramark community.”

The campus meal employee was identified by his family as Robert Morales, from Miami-Dade County.
“You deserve more, Robert. Thank you for being in my life,” the man claiming to be Morales’ older brother wrote in X’s post.
Tallahassee police said at a press conference Thursday that the two killed in the attack were not students. No details have been released regarding the second victim who lost his life.
A spokesman for Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare said in a statement that two of the six injured patients are expected to be discharged from the hospital on Friday. The condition of the three shooting victims has improved, but another shooting condition remained “fair.”
