It was a successful year at Frank’s pizza shop. It opened on University Boulevard last year as Antonella 2.0 some time after the grid, but for now, it is the owner, with Pizza Auro’s Frank Paradiso hanging on the apron.
The space will soon be NYPD pizza.
“I sold Frank and have a better balance between work and family life,” says Paradiso.
Best Pizza: 2025 Orlando Sentinel Foodie Award
Paradiso pizza, which includes his grandma’s pie, which won multiple Orlando Sentinel Hoodie Awards, is in the singular form. Being able to leave, so that he can find the right help to maintain quality, proves to be too challenging in today’s climate, but he is not yet about to retire.
“This change will free time to pursue new opportunities and most importantly focus on the possibility of regaining the original Antonella location.”
Antonella’s pizza, located at 360 W. Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park, was sold to another operator shortly before the Frank pizza shop, which will open in 2024.

As Paradiso enjoys and strategizes family time, he hopes for the good fortune of the NYPD in their efforts at the University Boulevard location.
“I would like to thank the staff who asked me to create a new brand every day, and the loyal fans and guests who have achieved success with their continued support.”
“Thank you for taking part in our journey. We couldn’t have done it without you. And you haven’t seen us at the end.”
