Osceola County, Fla. (WFLA) — The foster parent and a youth pastor have been arrested for sexually abusing two girls who were caring for him, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Daniel Lampin, 40, works as Chickfil A’s manager on the South Orange Blossom Trail and was a volunteer youth pastor at Connection Church, a generation of Kissimmee.
According to Osceola County Sheriff Marco Lopez, the investigation began on November 25, 2024, after the victim, who is now 15, was sexually abused from the age of six to eight.
Lampin sexually abused the victim three times and physically abused her at one point, Sheriff Marco Lopez said.
While investigating the case of the first victim, the sheriff’s office received information that there was another victim who was now an adult but was a foster child in Lampung.
“The family revealed that within days of moving into the house he began abusing her. The sexual abuse began at the age of 16 and continued for years,” Sheriff Marco Lopez said.
Rampin is faced with 24 counts of sexual assault by the custodian.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said in this case, or anyone with information that is the victim, would call the Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222.
