MONTROY COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Former Circle K Secretary is required after Florida man said he was seen on a security video that helped him steal lottery tickets from a convenience store.
Detectives from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office found that Jorge Acevedo Perez, 47, of Big Coppitt Key, conspired with Dave Dackens Pluviose, 20, to steal a lottery ticket worth $15,000 from the Circle K on the Lower Key overseas highway.

According to investigators, Pluviose, a former employee of Circle K, can watch it over and over again by handing over a large number of lottery tickets without charging Acevedo Perez on security videos.

Lawmakers said they arrested Acevedo Perez, who was charged with grand theft and conspiracy last month.
The detective is still looking for Pluviose. They said they were seen in a supermarket by cashing out security videos with lottery tickets along with Acevedo Perez.
The sheriff’s office said the pair stole tickets they paid a prize of about $8,000.
Anyone with information about Pluviose should contact a detective at 305-292-7060 or a crime stopper at 305-471-8477.
