DELTONA, Fla. (WFLA) – A woman is arrested after being accused of destroying a car she thought belonged to an ex-boyfriend, but it turns out to belong to someone else.
Deputies answered a call about a young woman spray-painting the vehicle, according to the Volsia County Sheriff’s Office.
At the scene, lawmakers found 18 and 16 years old.
The lawmaker said one of the women was wearing sweatpants dyed with yellow spray paint.
After questioning both, the 18-year-old admitted that she was mad at her ex-boyfriend and decided to throw an egg and spray paint his car.
After all, the vehicle belonged to one of his neighbors, not her ex-boyfriend’s.

A further search in this area restored a can of yellow spray paint nearby, and empty bottles of Crown Royal, Marijuana and Scale.
Deputies also saw a woman driving the car.
Volsia County Councilman arrested an 18-year-old woman, charged with criminal mischief, contributed to the delinquency of a minor, possession of alcohol under the age of 21, and drove under the influence.
