Sunrise, Fla. — The Florida Panthers announced today along with the National Hockey League, the 2025-26 regular season schedule.
The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions will begin their title defense at a three-game homestand in South Florida, and will lift a second consecutive championship banner to the Amerant Bank Arena Rafters against the Chicago Blackhawks at 5pm. ET Tuesday, October 7th. Florida will hold a 7pm game with the Philadelphia Flyers and Senators on Thursday, October 9th, on Saturday, October 11th, before set off on a five-game road trip to Philadelphia, New Jersey, New Jersey, Buffalo and Boston.

Florida’s 2025-26 schedule is highlighted by the 2026 DiscoverNHL WinterClassic® at Rondepot Park in Miami on January 2nd against the New York Rangers, the southernmost outdoor matchup in NHL history. The Panthers will also hold their first 2025 Stanley Cup final rematch with the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday, November 22nd at 7pm ET. Florida will visit Rogers Place in Edmonton for a meeting on Thursday, March 19th at 9pm.
The Panthers’ home schedule features 24 games either Thursday (9 games), Friday (4 games), Saturday (9 games), or Sunday (2 games). All Thursday contests at Amerant Bank Arena will drop the pack at 7pm, but the timing of other weekend games will depend on schedule.
Florida will not hold 20 consecutive games in February due to the Olympic Winter Games Milan Cortina 2026. It features at least four Panthers players who have already been nominated as their country’s reserve attractions.
Home cooking
Florida’s longest homestand of the season will see the Cats play six consecutive games at Amerant Bank Arena from November 26th to December 7th, facing the Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nashville Predator, Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Islanders. December is Florida’s busiest month, with 10 of its 15 games taking place in South Florida.
‘Glades’ Matinee
The Panthers will host three contests at the Bank Arena in 2025-26, starting with a 4pm Black Friday matchup with the Calgary Flames on Friday, November 28th. Florida will host the Columbus Blue Jacket at 3:30pm on Saturday, December 6th, against the Winnipegjet at 4pm on Saturday, January 31st.
Celebrate the holidays in a classic way
Florida will host a four-game homestand during the 2025-26 holiday season. It starts with a match against the cross-state rival Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, December 27th at 7pm. The Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens discovered the winter park on December 30th at the West hosts of the West on December 30th, before the event was held on December 30th, before the event was held on December 30th, and the Winter Park on December 30th, Miami with the New York Rangers on January 2nd.
Back to back
Cats will compete in 13 consecutive contests from 2025 to 2026. Eight of those 13 will place cats as road teams in both games, and four will be consecutive home matchups.
Again on the road
Florida’s schedule has seven separate road trips of at least four games, with six games growth between the longest from January 6th to January 17th with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Montreal Canadian, the Ottawa Senators, the Buffalo Sabres, the Carolina Hurricanes and the Washington Capitals. January and March are Florida’s heaviest road months, each with 10 away games.
