BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man returned from a tropical vacation Sunday and found himself handcuffed.
Michael Mock, 48, of Port St. Joe, was arrested by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 9 while disembarking from a cruise in Port Canaveral.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) announced that Mock was the subject of a child sexual abuse investigation even before he boarded the ship.
Investigators say the victim recently accused Mock of a crime that occurred about six years ago.
Authorities said they found probable cause to charge Mock with sexual assault of a victim under 12 years of age and lewd and lascivious sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years of age. Both are felonies punishable by life in prison or capital punishment.
Officials said Mock had already departed the cruise when FDLE officials issued a warrant for his arrest on Nov. 6.
FDLE announced in a news release Monday that Mock is being held without bail pending his first court appearance.
