OCALOUSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man faces several charges after allegedly threatening people with guns and throwing a small explosive device at Jimmy Johns in Fort Walton Beach.
Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Gregory Simmons on Saturday. According to the arrest report, Simmons went to Emerald Coast Harley-Davidson around 2pm that day and pointed his gun at a member of the motorcycle club.

According to the report, as Simmons was driving, he dumped something from his car and exploded outside a nearby sandwich shop. The explosion shattered several windows and the broken glass cut one of the employees.
Simmons was arrested after a traffic stop. Lawmakers say they seized two guns and four “M” explosives.
He is charged with “throwing destructive devices that cause felony or physical damage, felony committees, felony criminal mischief, and displaying firearms during inappropriate display of firearms.”
