DEVERY, Fla. (WFLA) — A man is in custody after two teenagers forced them to undress in the park on Sunday night, the Borussia County Sheriff’s Office said.

The lawmaker responded to the park around 7:45pm, where he found two 17-year-old boyfriends and girlfriends.

The victim said a man identified as a 39-year-old Marquevis chance approached them and hit the boy in his head with a handgun before pointing the gun at the girl. He forced both and left in his clothes.

The boy was taken to the hospital to be treated for a laceration in his head.

The VSO said the preliminary investigation pointed to the motives of the attack as retaliation for the argument the suspect had with one of the victims’ family.

Chance turned himself on Monday and was booked to the Volsia County Branch Jail. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery, and two counts of aggravated armed robbery.
