A new analysis by ticket comparison site Seatpic reveals that Florida has six of the 10 top-rated theme parks in the US, highlighting Sunshine State’s status as the country’s top destination for amusement park thrills.
The toppings on the list are Knoebels Amusement Resort in Pennsylvania. It boasts 83.3% of over 30,000 combined reviews rated 5 stars on Google and TripAdvisor. However, Florida parks also work very well in the rankings, with Universal Adventure Island third place (80.1% 5-star reviews) followed by Magic Kingdom (5th), Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (6th), Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Seven), University Studios Floridy (eighth) and epcot (tent).
Seatpick’s analysis combined with Google and Tripadvisor focused on US parks with at least 10,000 reviews, measuring the percentage of five-star reviews to measure overall customer satisfaction.
Florida Parks will do a powerful show
Ranked third in the nation, Universal’s island is characterized by over 148,000 reviews, with fans celebrating immersively themed lands that include Jurassic Park, Marvel Superhero Island and the world of the Wizards of Harry Potter.
Ranked fifth, Magic Kingdom captivates visitors with its iconic Cinderella Castle, Daily Parade, and classic rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain, and is a crown jewel of Walt Disney World.
Other notable Florida attractions include:
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (6th): A unique blend of education and excitement featuring rocket launches and astronaut encounters. Disney’s Animal Kingdom (7th): A combination of wildlife conservation and cutting-edge attractions like avatars: A run-through. Universal Studios Florida (8th): There are thrilling vehicles based on blockbuster films such as Transformers and Harry Potter. Epcot (10th): The New Guardians of the Galaxy: Known for its cultural showcase and future vehicles, including Cosmic Rewind.
The epic influence of the universe
Florida’s hold on the amusement parks industry will be further strengthened with the grand opening of Epic Universe, the highly anticipated fourth theme park at Universal Orlando Resort.
The epic universe features five new immersive lands, including the world of Super Nintendo. It’s the same as Mario Kart and Donkey Kong themed rides and attractions based on how to train dragons and universal monsters. The park introduces an unprecedented level of interactivity and cutting-edge technology, highlighting real-time character interactions and augmented reality elements integrated into rides and park navigation.
Since its opening in the summer of 2025, Epic Universe has been attracting international attention, with strong early reviews suggesting that the top 10 rankings will soon be featured in Seatpick’s next analysis, potentially confusing.

Local tourism leaders believe the epic universe could become a game-changer for Orlando’s already thriving hospitality sector. Hotels near Universal Orlando have reported a significant increase in bookings, with city officials forecasting record-breaking tourism revenue for the remainder of 2025.
“With the launch of the epic universe, Orlando reaffirms its status as the global theme park capital,” said Seatpic CEO Girad Zilberman. “Florida already dominates our rankings, and with this major expansion, its appeal will only be stronger.”
As summer vacation season reaches its peak, Florida continues to offer the biggest variety and top-rated experiences for families looking for an unforgettable amusement park adventure.

Google, TripAdvisor, Wikipedia.
Methodology:
The first list of US entertainment parks was sourced from Wikipedia. A theme park with over 10,000 reviews across Google and TripAdvisor was considered, leaving a total of 81 attractions behind. Theme parks were ranked based on the highest percentage of five-star reviews. The number of reviews was marked as zero on a list that is not found in either Google reviews or TripAdvisor.
