Florida has appointed one of the worst states for renters

(KTLA) – According to a new study, which states have decided to be the worst for renters? Perhaps it won’t shock you with many lives on the West Coast.

A consumer issue study, published earlier this month, reported by the Consumer Issues Study, has won the California designation due to a combination of highly rising rent increases, low rental availability and low quality of life metrics.

“The statewide affordability crisis, tight rental markets and aging housing stocks have achieved the lowest ranking for California renters’ friendliness,” the customer review platform said.

California renters are eligible for the highest monthly median payment of $2,000 and the highest cost of living.

The study pointed out positive for people who want to live in California.

“The Golden State has solid tenant laws, ranked fifth in the analysis for tenant protection. In 2019, the state passed a law requiring landlords to have “just cause” to end tenants.

This is a list of five worst and best state consumer issues to rent.

Worst states for renters:

California – 34.74 out of 100 points Nevada – 37.25 out of 100 points Florida – 37.29 out of 100 points Louisiana – 37.77 out of 100 points Massachusetts 38.07 out of 100 points

Best states for renters:

North Dakota – 67.15 out of 100 points – 66.28 out of 100 points Wyoming – 61.81 out of 100 points Minnesota – 58.23 out of 100 points Wisconsin – 58.23 out of 58.23 out of 58.23

With a score of 34.74, California was the only state in the study to score under 37 points. North Dakota has determined the best for the tenant at 67.15 points, nearly doubled California’s total.

According to the report, North Dakota was awarded the highest honor thanks to “impressive affordability” and “impressive affordability”. Peace Garden State also boasts the highest level of rental availability.

Consumer Issues awarded scores of affordability, quality of life, tenant protection and rental availability using data from the US Census Bureau, NYU Langone Health, and NeighborhoodScout.
