st. Augustine, Fla. (AP) – The Florida Man’s Game is back in round two. Teams from around the state gather together to prove they have what they need to join the ranks of the world’s worst superheroes.
Following the success of last year’s first Floridaman game in downtown St. Augustine, organizers moved Saturday’s event to St. John’s County Fairgrounds a few miles away.

The final game after 9am will be hosted by Florida comedians Josh Wicks Robinson and Kevin Flynn.
Last year’s team enjoyed the state’s reputation for the strange story. New events added this year include Hurricane Party Preparation: Grocery Aisle Brawls and Human Beer Pong.
Ten teams from around the state compete, from Fort Myers to Pensacola. Last year’s recipient, St. Augustine’s Team Hanky Spanky, has returned to protect the Snakeskin Championship Belt. This year, it’s all the women’s team called The Ball Busters.
In addition to watching the event, guests will have the opportunity to go to the Florida Man Shenangan. They can interact with alligators from Gatorland and ride mechanical alligators. The game will also feature the Midget Wrestling Warriors show and Lawn Mower Racing, hosted by NASCAR driver Jeffrey Earnhardt.
The “Florida Man” phenomenon has permeated the conscience of the country thanks to a Twitter account that began in 2013 with Handle @_floridaman. The account promoted “The reality story of the world’s worst superhero,” which shares news headlines such as “A Florida man bites a dog to “establish control” a dog” and “A Florida man tried to pay for weeds and McDonalds.”
