Republican legislative leaders accused Governor Ron Desantis on Monday that he had “not read” and lied to a bill to strengthen the execution of the immigration law.
Senator Ben Albritton and the House of Representatives Daniel Perez refuse to propose immigration early on the day, and after proposing one of their own, Desantis accused their plan as “weak.” He argued that his proposal to demand an official of the law enforcement agency is “gut”. A state that cooperates with the federal immigrant executive officer.
“We have no duty to enforce the state and local law execution agencies to fully cooperate with illegal immigrants,” he posted to X.
The battle between Desantis and Congress sets the possibility of rejection of immigration execution, an important board of President Donald Trump’s campaign, who united Republican members.
In a joint statement, Albritton and Perez called the bill called “illegal immigration policy and reform”. They criticized Desantis plans to punish law executive officers who did not comply with the federal immigration order.
“This is a blatant lie about the lawyer of Florida. Florida’s law enforcement officer is at the forefront of protecting the community from illegal immigrants every day,” R-Miami’s Perez. And Albritton of R-WAuchula said.
“The law enforcement agency is our partner, not an enemy. It’s no wonder that the governor’s proposal includes criminal penalties for the law execution agency. His statement is that he doesn’t trust the ground boots. Obviously, we are. “
Florida’s legislative instructor called the special session “premature”.
Desantis was working on immigration in anticipation of Trump’s administrative order to promote expulsion of abroad, calling for a special session on Monday. Perez and Albritton have criticized the movement as “irresponsible” in “premature”.
They have called for a session as the state constitution demands, but quickly postponed them and bred another session to work on immigration in their own way.
Desantis also stated that some of the leadership bills (SB 2B/HB 1b), which move immigration execution under Wilton Simpson, were unconstitutional.

“Agriculture is not accurately known in immigration execution. It’s like Fox is protecting the chicken house,” said Desantis in a video posted to X. “It was strange. I think it was a more sop for those who wanted a cheap labor. It’s a completely bad policy.
In response, the legislative leader stated that it was a constitution, as Desantis maintains the power to call an emergency based on their plan, but his statement is “malignant for diligent farmers. I did. “
“Congress does not act in a dishonest or disgraceful way by attacking our law enforcement, especially in our law enforcement,” said Perez and Albritton.
“Unlike the others, Congress is not interested in misleading or attacking Floridans, especially Florida’s law execution agencies. Our main goal is to cooperate with President Trump. If not, those who say something do not read the bill, read the presidential order, or tell the truth. “
At the end of Monday, Trump was not squeezed by his true social social media account collision. On January 13, Trump posted about the call of the governor of a special session.
