BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A driver was caught reaching 118 mph just before a suspected DUI arrest in Florida.
A deputy at Brevard County Sheriff’s Office discovered a speeding SUV on Interstate 95 early Sunday morning, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office.
The Tampas Morke Shop was attacked. The employer says he only sells legally approved products.
The vehicle was recorded at 118 mph just before the driver hit the brakes and pulled it to the median median. The adjutant reported the smell of alcohol emanating from the driver’s window during a traffic stop.
The driver was identified as Juan Espinoza. His wife and two children, one and an eight-year-old, were in the car.
“People, no matter how many times we say, people continue to risk their lives, and the innocent lives of citizens on the roads, in this case, those he loves and should care for the most, his family, his family.”
Espinosa was arrested and charged with DUI and child negligence without causing any physical harm. The sheriff’s office attached a mugshot of his smile to a Facebook post.
