MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — Two Florida dock workers have been arrested in connection with theft of $50,000 worth of cruise terminal artwork, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by NBC affiliate WTVJ, 27-year-old Angel Prudhom, admin worker in Miami-Dade County, and 50-year-old Tangera Parks, were arrested Wednesday on grand theft.
The Sheriff’s Office said Prudumum was caught up in surveillance cameras earlier this month to remove artwork from the wall of Terminal G. Investigators said they hid the artwork in a stairwell and a trash can while trying to dodge the camera.

According to arrest reports, Prudom was later seen moving the artwork in the park and placing it in a car in the park.
The sheriff’s office said the pair took 24 mosaics and marble pieces, half of which were damaged due to improper removal.
After detectives retrieved the artwork, Miami-Dade’s agent said Prudom and Parks admitted to stealing it and had been booked to prison.
“As Miami-Dade County sheriff, I use my employment to take individuals to steal very seriously. I am committed to ensuring that everyone involved in fraud is liable,” Miami-Dade’s Rosie Coldero Stutz said in a statement to WTVJ.
