BANNEL, Fla. (WFLA) — Detectives stopped secret drug surgery Thursday, leading to the discovery of a neglected child and two dogs and arresting four people.
According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the SWAT team served as a search warrant in the 5000 block of Nutwood Avenue.
A search for the residence, including four RVs and a modular home, led detectives to discover and seizure multiple firearms, methamphetamine, cannabis and various other drug-related devices.
In one of the RVS, detectives say they discovered a child that appeared to be ignored, and the two dogs were both visibly weakened by skin infections, resulting in the loss of fur.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the owner of RV David Price, 38, and Clara Sands-Baenfield.
They are charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as neglect of a child and cruelty of an animal.
Detectives arrested two other individuals, 55-year-old Margaret Rush and Howard Crouch, 53.
Both have been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Anyone with information about suspected drug activity or drug trafficking in Flagler County should call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
