Jacksonville leads the big metro
Jacksonville cracked the top tier of America’s biggest city, recording a 9% population growth and a 43% GDP spike in one year. Jaxport and infrastructure improvements in transit will help us maintain this pace of growth.
Orlando and Tampa rise rapidly
In central Florida, Orlando ranks highly with a 14% increase in population and a 36% increase in revenues of 36%, highlighting the transition to a hub of technology, aerospace and entertainment.
Nearby Tampa also recorded outstanding figures, including a 43% GDP growth and nearly 40% revenue growth, reflecting the rapidly diversifying economy.
St. Petersburg and Port St. Lucy Power Entrepreneurial Spirit
St. Petersburg and Port St. Lucie were highlighted by the explosive growth of small businesses. St. Petersburg saw a 98% jump in business applications, while Port St. Lucy tops the list with a 108% growth in business startups.
