Blaise Ingoglia, Florida’s chief financial officer, is on a mission to expose wasteful spending by local county and city governments.
Chief Financial Officer Ingoglia’s work on Florida’s DOGE has been praised by small government advocates and is now receiving praise from Florida’s top law enforcement officials.
This week, CFO received support from more than 60 Florida sheriffs for his 2026 Florida Chief Financial Officer campaign. Ingolia has also been endorsed by the Florida Fraternal Order of Police.
“I support Blaze Ingoglia for CFO because he is extremely tough on crime. While other states succumb to crime-friendly laws, Blaze will ensure that doesn’t happen here. Voting for Blaze Ingoglia is a smart and safe choice for Florida’s future,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
Another popular sheriff in the state also praised Ingoglia’s support for police officers.

“Florida is a law-and-order state with zero tolerance for crime, and that’s largely because of leaders like Blaze Ingoglia,” said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
Before becoming the state’s chief financial officer, Mr. Ingoglia served in the state Senate, where he helped pass legislation cracking down on criminal illegal aliens and supported legislation championed by Governor DeSantis that would have given law enforcement officers in the state better pay and retention bonuses.
There are rumors that Ingoglia may challenge him in the Republican primary. But if that happens, the current CFO may be difficult to topple, given the sheriff’s recent support group.
“This CFO has identified wasteful spending in many Florida communities and is creating a ripple of popularity among the Republican base. That, combined with the support of law enforcement, will make it difficult for a challenger to defeat Ingoglia in 2026,” said political commentator Tom Gatens.
