PORT STREET LUCIE, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida teenager is accused of throwing a rock at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicle after agents arrested his father.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department said the incident happened Tuesday morning at a Wawa gas station while ICE and Border Patrol agents were “conducting an operation.”
Pascual Velazquez Martin, 19, is accused of picking up large rocks and throwing them at passing vehicles. Photos provided by police showed the shattered rear windshield.

Police have not said why Martin’s father was arrested. Martin left the area and was arrested a short time later.
He was charged with throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.
“We would also like to once again thank our amazing community of support as witnesses who remained at the scene to confirm that Velasquez Martin was the person who threw the large rock at law enforcement officers,” PSLPD said in a Facebook post. “Let us remind you of this arrest and remind you that this type of criminal behavior will not be tolerated in our city!”
