VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida boat manufacturer has been arrested for the second time after police say he defrauded five customers out of more than $200,000.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation revealed that each customer had hired Jeffrey Love of Deltona to build custom airboats.
Customers paid him thousands of dollars but received “nothing in return other than excuses and stall tactics,” the sheriff’s office said.

Volusia representatives said Love was previously arrested in a nearly similar scheme and was already on probation for a felony.

Love was charged with grand theft and organized fraud scheme. He was also charged with violating probation and driving with a suspended license.
He was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail without bail.
Investigators said they are working to recover the victim’s money.
