AAA Auto Club report showed that Florida gas prices average $3.17 per gallon. That was 10 cents more than a week ago, six cents more than last month and two more cents more than last year.

“We follow the same pattern of gas prices rising in Florida within roughly the same range for one to two weeks each week,” said AAA spokesman Mark Jenkins. “Oil prices over the past week have shown some weakness, but not to the extent that they show significant relief from the pump.”

Crude oil prices have declined by 9% in the past three weeks. On Friday, the US price of crude oil settled at $71 per barrel. This is down from $72.53/b a week ago, from mid-January’s highest price of $78.71 in 2025.

The highest and lowest gas prices average across the Florida metro market:

Most Expensive Metro Markets – West Palm Beach Boca Raton ($3.32), Naples ($3.28), Ocala ($3.24)

Minimum Cheap Metro Market – Crest Beau Fort Walton Beach ($2.83), Panama City ($2.84), Pensacola ($2.86)
