TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Airports across North Florida have announced closures as winter weather creates dangerous conditions.

A winter storm moving through Florida is expected to dump about 3 to 6 inches of snow in some areas of the Panhandle, causing visibility and driving concerns.

Pensacola International Airport announced it would close Tuesday and cease commercial operations due to winter weather. Travelers were advised to contact their airlines for updated flight schedules.
