TALHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) – Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered all US and Florida flags to be flew by semi-staff on Monday, April 28th.
Recognizing the fallen officers in Florida who made the ultimate sacrifice, Florida Brothers Police will honor these law enforcement officers for the courage and service.

All flags on local and state buildings, facilities and grounds will fly half-staffed from sunrise to sunset on Monday.
The governor’s flag protocol says he can order a state flag at half price “on appropriate occasions, such as during holidays and at the time of high-ranking state officials, uniformed law enforcement and firefighters, and prominent citizens.”
“When you fly the flag, you not only show your patriotism, but you also respect those who dedicated their lives to building this country and those who gave their lives to protect it,” the message from the secretary reads in part.
The flag is not only a symbol of American values, but it also means proper respect and honor when it goes down to the semi-staff.
