A driver has been arrested on vehicle murder charges after five children died Saturday evening at Miami Garden.
Miami Gardens police have identified the driver as 25-year-old Antonio Wilcox Jr.
The five people killed have not yet been identified.
“Speed was a factor, and alcohol was a factor,” said Miami Gardens Police Sergeant. Emmanuel Jeanti told the media at the crash scene on Saturday night.

After the 5:50pm crash, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said they needed to extract the three trapped people. Four children and a woman were relegated to a trauma center in Hollywood’s Memorial Area, and one child was airlifted there.
Four other people were taken to a hospital in Broward.
