TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Highway Patrol wants to defend the best looking cruiser titles.
Law enforcement wants to win consecutive contests and charge three peats.
This year, FHP took part in the contest with photos taken with the agency’s New Black and Tan Corvette during the sunset in Miami.

FHP said the Corvette was seized in a joint crime investigation of a nationwide drug trafficking group with the Drug Enforcement Bureau.
The Troopers said it was helping to reduce crashes on Florida roads by using corvettes to focus attention on road safety campaigns.

The contest is said annually “to bring attention and awareness to the National Soldiers Association, founded by the Florida Troopers in 1989 and headquartered in Tallahassee.”
“FHP is proud to be re-entered in AAST’s ‘Best Enthusiasts’ Contest. This year’s photo captures the beauty of Miami Skyline Sunset, showing the strength of Florida law enforcement and FHP-DEA criminal investigation taken from a convicted drug trafficker: “We encourage everyone to show their support by casting a vote and helping to protect our title as the country’s most beautiful-looking cruiser.”
Click here to vote. The contest will be open until noon on July 11th.
The cruiser with the most votes will be on the cover of the American State Troopers Association’s 2026 calendar.
