ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – The teenager’s family is suing Disney after cast members allegedly filmed the girl’s dress in 2023.
Jorge Diaz Vega is a Disney employee who has been engaged in the act of “upskirting” video voyeurism for about six years, the lawsuit alleges.
While working at the Hollywood studio of a store called Star Wars Galaxy Edge, Vega walked over to the minors and intentionally dropped the toy in front of her before placing her phone under her dress and recording.

The minor noticed Vega taking pictures of her dress and taking photos, and ran to a nearby toilet and began crying hysterically before suffering from dry snakes, vomiting and panic attacks, according to the lawsuit.
He contacted Disney Security and then contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, which took over the investigation.
Vega said the case, many others and his phone were seized, and images and videos of more than 600 victims were found on his phone, the lawsuit said.
Prior to the incident, Vega was caught recording a female colleague and reported to a Disney employee supervisor, Wesh said.

“Disney knew or should have known Jorgedias Vega’s tendency to engage in video eavesdropping through employees, agents, servants and/or apparent agents, and otherwise film other employees and guests without consent.
The family has accused Disney and Vega of privacy, negligence and intentional invasion of emotional distress.
Vega is also facing two criminal cases for video voyeurism.
