BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (WFLA) – Lee County officials are looking for a trio who said they posed as a religious group to gain the trust of local homeowners.
The three suspects are believed to have gone to the victim’s home on Carolina Street in Bonita Springs on the evening of April 10th.

Deputies said two suspects asked to pray with the homeowner and a third suspect entered and began running around the home while the homeowner was distracted.
Authorities say she eventually stole $3,500 in gem and an unknown amount of cash. The woman then rubbed out the side door and fled to the white vehicle, officials said.

The photo showed the female suspect wearing a satchel, glasses and an ankle-length dress with hair pulled back.
Investigators also obtained a photo of one of the men she is believed to have worked with. The photo shows him wearing a white collared shirt in dark pants.
