Trump reintroduces foreign travel bans
President Donald Trump has reintroduced a foreign travel ban on visas targeting 12 foreign countries deemed linked to terrorism and security threats.
Countries on the list of total suspensions are Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Another list of partial restrictions in Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela has been created.
Trump initially put them on the ban list during his first term, but was removed when President Joe Biden took office in 2021.
The restrictions are restricted as “they intend to commit terrorist attacks, threaten national security, support hate ideology, or exploit immigration laws for malicious purposes.”
Trump launched a travel ban to seven countries during his first term.
The ban is scheduled to come into effect on June 9th at midnight.
Suspects indicted in domestic terrorist attacks over Colorado Fire Bomb
The man was arrested last week and charged with domestic terrorism and hate crimes in an attack on a Colorado mall using makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails.
The suspect, 45-year-old Mohammed Sabri Soliman, an Egyptian national, is said to have targeted peaceful pro-Israel demonstrations, threw Molotov cocktails into the crowd and yelled “free Palestine” before burning at least eight people.

50% tariffs will be enforced on steel and aluminum
The US 50% tariff is enforced with aluminum and steel tariffs, aiming to boost US production.
Orders signed on June 2nd will double the initial 25% rate.
President Donald Trump has accused China of being a major factor in damaging national production by flooding the world with cheap, subsidized steel and aluminum.
Part of Trump’s policy of making America great was to return manufacturing to America and restore the country’s steel industry.
Canada is currently the largest supplier of steel and aluminum in the United States.

Supreme Court terminates Mexican lawsuit against US gun companies
The highest US courts have unanimously sought to hold them accountable for the country’s gun crimes, as they defeated the lawsuit against the Mexican gun company.
In the 9-0 decision, the US Supreme Court overturned a lower court’s decision on the interstate division of US gun makers Smith & Wesson and distributors, who were the director of gun sales and distribution to Mexican drug cartels, claiming it was causing harm to the government.
The Supreme Court cited the Lawful Commercial Transactions Protection Act. This protects gun companies from illegal use of their products.
Mexico claimed in the lawsuit that the company intentionally sold it and helped it transport the guns to Mexico through straw purchases.
