Cape Coral, Fla. (WFLA) – An unexpected visitor flew like a private 9/11 memory ceremony held at Cape Coral.

Firefighters said they heard the screams of eagles as if to announce its presence when they landed on a fire station on a burnt-down shop road.

Americans celebrate the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attack with an emotional ritual

This appeared to have held a moment of silence at 8:46am when the first plane hit the North Tower to honor those killed on September 11, 2001.

Hubed Eagle “stayed for a while before flying gracefully,” Cape Coral Fire Station said in a social media post sharing photos of the encounter.

“On this tragic day in our country’s history, it’s an incredible symbol of patriotism, freedom, community and hope,” the fire department added.
