ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – Orlando police arrested two sisters on May 15 for allegedly assaulting a Frontier Airlines gate agent at Orlando International Airport.
The sisters were removed from a New Jersey-bound plane for being intoxicated and causing a disturbance before takeoff.
Orlando police body camera footage shows the aftermath of the alleged assault on Jetbridge. In the video, the airline employee told police that her sister, Keira Lyons, yelled profanities at her before pushing her away, and that her sister assaulted her.
Lyons said the flight attendant touched her chest and provoked her, but she did not remember the gate agent falling.
The sisters were arrested and charged with first-degree assault and disorderly intoxication, Orlando police said. Both sisters received counseling and treatment through a pretrial intervention program.
